Giveaway: Geek shirts!!
This is my first giveaway and I hope all goes well as well as generate some much need revenue.
Rules:
Reblog this post just once to be entered to win. Likes and follows don’t count but are deeply appreciated. Giveaway ends Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at 11:59 PST. Winners are able to pick one shirt and I will ship it to them for free! <3
I will be announcing the winner instead of contacting them by their ask box so you need not turn them on. So on Saturday night/Sunday morning, check back to see if you’ve won and email me at greyscreations@yahoo.com.
I am kinda curious as to how many followers i can amass o_o since I’m at 20 now……I’ll pick an additional winner if I reach 150 followers and then another if I break 500.
Good luck tumblrheads!

Video Game Workout Challenge
In an effort to better myself, I have decided to get back into shape.  I was a competitive swimmer in high school and it would be really nice to be close to comparable, fitness wise.
So earlier in the year, I started doing video game workouts.  The idea is that every time a relatively common event happens in a game, you do a set of exercises.  Previously, I have done exercises every time I died in Mirror’s Edge on hard mode, every death in one of the Donkey Kong Country games, and every battle in Final Fantasy XIII.  Currently, I’m playing Pokemon Crystal and my event with be a battle or encounter of any kind.
After every “event”, I’ll do one of the following, switching off:-20 pushups (arms and chest)-30 calf raises (legs)-20 sit-ups (abs)-20 dips (arms)-30 second wall sit (legs)-30 plank (core stabilizer)
Back in college I worked out with the swim team for a while (I didn’t have time for the team, so I ended up having to drop it, unfortunately).  While we weren’t swimming, we did what was called “dry land” workouts.  The workouts were reps of the above exercises.  These exercises are great, because anyone can do them with limited space and pretty much no equipment besides a chair for dips.  They are ideal for late night workouts in dorm rooms when you couldn’t go to the gym.
Now this of course is eventually going to become easy, if you do it for long enough.  By that time, it might be in your best interest to start devoting some time to do harder workouts.  I always suggest swimming if you have a pool available to you because I love the sport. If anyone else is looking for a way to get back into shape after not working out for a while, I challenge you start this workout plan with me.  Good luck!
